This isn’t just a Bar & Grill; this is a small show of respect to Rich Schaudel. The local legend who was more than a man. Rich was a proud husband, father, grandfather, mentor, friend, Cornhusker and a Kansas City Chief fan. Goose’s Bar & Grill is owned by Rich’s equally amazing middle daughter (Lisa), and her combat service-disabled veteran husband (Jon). Stubborn as a Missouri mule but with a heart warmer than a Southern summer, Jon brings his wild ideas and Southern-inspired cuisine to life, blending it with a midwestern spirit that makes Goose’s a home away from home as the only Papillion Sports bar downtown.

Goose’s Bar & Grill isn’t just about mouth-watering food, finger-licking fun, and the type of burgers that can make a grown man weep tears of joy as Nebraska’s bar & grill. Oh no, my friends. It’s also about good ol’ country values: family, friends, and a commitment to the simple joys of life. Our belief is that life is too short not to have some fun so we at Goose’s want to bring the fun to Papillion not only in our approach to how we do things but in how we support the community.
